EAT-DRINK-STINK! The annual Easton Garlic Fest is back for its two-day run in Centre Square and EFM is part of the festivities on Saturday October 1st. EFM’s farmers will be showcasing unique varieties of garlic and EFM’s specialty product vendors will have plenty of garlic-themed goodies for shoppers to enjoy. Shop all-day at the market on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm for all of your EFM favorites and return on Sunday, October 2nd for more garlic fun and culinary events at the festival!!
Celebrate autumn and the harvesting of local apples! Check out the many different varieties from this fall’s apple crop at Backyard Growers, Beechwood Orchards, and Scholl Orchards. Look for apple baked goods at Apple Ridge Farms, The Flour Shop and Tomblers Home Bakery along with specialty apple items offered by many of EFM’s vendors. And don’t forget to stop by Sycamore Grille for their mouth-watering apple fritters. Then join in the fun at EFM’s annual ‘Apple Pie Eating Contest’ — whether you want to vie for the top prize or just cheer on your favorite contestant, it’s a good time for everyone!!
PA BaconFest returns for its fifth year in downtown Easton on November 5th & 6th. EFM’s farmers and specialty product vendors will be selling their bounty on Saturday, November 5th in front of the Easton Public Market, 325 Northampton Street. Look for the many bacon products offered by Breakaway Farms and Purely Farm with lots of bacon-inspired products at other EFM vendors. Come back to downtown on Sunday, November 6th for more events showcasing bacon and its deliciousness!
Throughout the summer and fall of 2016, local professional and amateur photographers will capture the spirit and essence of the Easton Farmers’ Market using the hashtag #EFMInstaShow Watch for these inspiring Instagram photos displayed at the Easton Public Market, 325 Northampton St, Easton, PA beginning Friday, November 18 / opening reception from 5 pm – 8 pm. Submissions must be received by Wednesday November 9th.
