The opening day of the 265th season of the Easton Farmers’ Market is not far away. Since 1752 when the market first began in Centre Square, Easton and nearby communities have been shopping local in the Circle. In 2017 we are celebrating that tradition of buying fresh from local farmers and food artisans at EFM — where you can really ‘shake the hand that feeds you.’
There is always excitement on the opening day of the market, as EFM welcomes back its full slate of vendors. Be there when Easton’s Town Crier and Mayor Sal Panto Jr. mark this special year with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 am in historic Centre Square. Come celebrate the nation’s longest-running, continuously operating outdoor farmers’ market since 1752, and eat fresh and local in 2017!!
