The dog days of August bring more than just heat and humidity. They also deliver the sweetest peaches of the season. The Easton Farmers’ Market celebrates the peach in all its glorious forms on Saturday August 8th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and Wednesday evening August 12th from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Market Chef Demo & Tasting: Watch Chef Jeremy Bialker of Two Rivers Brewing Co. prepare peach glazed pork ribs with pasture-raised pork from Purely Farms. He’ll pair it with a watermelon and heirloom tomato salad tossed with Valley Milkhouse feta cheese and a black pepper and chocolate balsamic dressing. Guests can also sample grilled peach flat bread with BaD farm cheese curds and caramelized onions. And then finish it off with a sip of Two River’s peach beer cocktail.
Some of our vendor offerings include Peach Cobbler with hand-dipped Sweet Cream ice cream from Bank Street Creamery, Southern Peach Pecan Cake from Debbie’s Pie in the Sky, Peach Crumb Pie from Tombler’s Bakery, Peach Baklava at Aladdin and Peach crepes from Full of Crepe. If it’s savory dish you seek try the peach tomatillo salsa and sriracha or the peach quinoa salad or a sausage sandwich laden with grilled peaches. Cool down with an ice cold peach lemonade!

On Wednesday night, market goers can enjoy a Peachy Pickins’ Recipe Giveaway: Pick up a recipe from these participating vendors and stop by Scholl Orchards to start your own peach inspired cooking experience: Pie in the Sky, Shawnee Inn & Resort, Apple Ridge Farm and Tolino Vineyards.
Tolino’s Vineyard Wine and Market pairing event: Enhance your favorite market flavors with Tolino’s award winning wines. Stop by and sample a selection of Tolino wines and market product from 6pm to 8pm and discover how to take your market meal to the next level.
