Activities for Kids
Power of Produce (POP) Club Returns in 2019
The Power of Produce (POP) Club is a farmers’ market-based children’s program that offers kids the opportunity to learn about seasonal, locally grown fruits and vegetables through fun activities. Weekly activities provide nutrition, food, agriculture, and exercise education. Participants are rewarded for each activity by receiving vouchers (POP Bucks) to spend at the market, empowering children by offering them authority to select and buy their own food from EFM produce farmers.
Join POP coordinator Jenna Gavin on Saturdays at EFM for interactive cooking demonstrations, fun fitness activities, hands-on gardening instructionals, recipe scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, and much more!
