Our Mission
The purpose of the Easton Farmers’ Market (EFM) is to provide fresh, high quality, local produce and food products directly from regional farms and businesses to the consumer. EFM strives to support local agriculture and preserve the region’s agricultural heritage while promoting direct connection with the farmers who grow the food. EFM also offers artists and crafters an outlet for sale of their handmade products. As a key part of Easton’s downtown Market District, the Easton Farmers’ Market serves as an important local economic driver and social hub.
Easton Farmers’ Market is a subsidiary of Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP), a registered 501c3 non-profit. GEDP. The Easton Public Market, Easton Main Street Initiative, Easton Garden Works, West Ward Neighborhood Initiative and Easton Ambassadors are also part of the GEDP.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Statement
It’s a universal truth that food brings people together, and our diversity of tastes allows us to learn, grow and become closer to each other’s cultures. For GEDP, EFM and EPM, that diversity comes from a group of entrepreneurs, farmers, and chefs who have at least one thing in common – passion for their craft.
Our shared home, Easton, has a storied history of uniting the community around food. Easton also offers a smorgasbord of arts, architecture, music, festivals, and a landscape packed with scenic views and activities. We’re united in our love for our home, its residents and visitors. We commit to aligning our culture and practices to be a beacon of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all people.
GEDP, EFM and EPM are equal opportunity organizations. We do not discriminate against any applicant, vendor, employee, partner, or customer because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, veteran status, or any other federal, state or local protected class.
