This Sunday kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated from September 15 – October 15th to honor the history, culture, traditions, and contributions of those with ancestry in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America!  We’re celebrating a day early because, well, we’re excited to celebrate the rich Hispanic heritage we have in Easton through popular and traditional foods and music!  To learn more about this celebration of Hispanic and Latino history, culture, art, and more, visit the National Museum of the American Latino’s website.  While at the market, stop by our vendors who have connections to Hispanic culture and heritage, with a special spotlight on a few:

  • Tierra de Fuego – This Colombian spot has the best empanadas and Gluten Free to boot!
  • Green Vida Co. – Of Colombian heritage, this great folks have amazing tropical smoothies and juices to keep you feeling your best!
  • Agamon Bakery – This new Colombian bakery has fun twists on laminated pastries and traditional Colombian pastires!
  • Antojitos Latinos (GUEST) – A fusion of Salvadorian, Puerto Rican, and Mexican cuisine sure to satisfy! The birria tacos and elote are a must-try!
  • Jersey Pickles – Hispanic-owned, their pickles, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes are sure to become a staple in your fridge!
  • Phillips Farm – With many staff from Hispanic countries, these dedicated folks bring an amazing array of fruits and vegetables week after week!
