Tomorrow is National Dog Appreciation Day and we sure do appreciate our furry little shoppers, big, small, scruffy, fluffy and everything in between. They bring so many smiles to the market day and we love seeing our shoppers relaxing and enjoying a morning out with their best friend. Saint Rocco’s Dog Treats has become a fast favorite this season with the pups making sure it’s their human’s first stop of the day. Be sure to check out Mattie’s dog strudel – a special strudel you can share with your pup!

 

Did you know that many local rescue organizations have their foster parents bring pups to the market for socialization and exposure that may lead to their forever home? We’ll have cute doggo stickers available at our Welcome tents this weekend and we will be accepting cash donations of dog food and treats for pups in need.

 

In the realm of toe-tappin’ fun, we’ll have TWO musical acts this Saturday! Beloved talented fiddle player, Serafina Salvaterra, will be performing on the hillside. Traditional Irish music bnad, Piper’s Request, will be performing on stage! Both performances are from 10-12, so get some goodies and stay for the music!
