Santa, Shiitakes, and Strolling Music

Santa, Shiitakes, and Strolling Music

….and so much more! This week we’ll have one of our favorite market appearances: sunshine! With music from the Little Brass Band keeping our spirits bright, a fireplace keeping our hands toasty, festive goats, and Santa Claus  – the market will be full of holiday cheer. Primordia will have an array of their mushrooms to add some “oomph” to any dish. We recommend this simple and flavorful sheet pan-roasted mushroom recipe. Cabbage Throw Farm will have their vibrant winter salad mix, featuring claytonia (aka “miner’s lettuce), to remind us that salads are fun(!) and a welcome verdant winter treat. Pay a visit to some amazing local craft and gift vendors, as well! We’ll have Mayamam Weavers with a selection of woven goods, Homestead with an array of thoughtfully sourced home-goods (helllloooooo handmade mushroom earrings!), and Teel’s Hill Soapwords with their scented soaps. Neil’s Sharpening Service will be joining us one last time for the market season, so bring your cutlery to be sharpened – or give the chef in your life else the gift of a sharpened knife for the holidays!

For a full list of vendors, market updates, and a splash of color in your inbox every week, sign up for our newsletter! Look forward to seeing you on Larry Holmes Drive for the second to last market of the 2022 season!
