Precious Pollinators

Precious Pollinators

Where would we bee without our pollinators?

Our dinner plates would be a lot less full and there would  be a lot less flowers, to put it lightly. Every day, these miniature and mighty warriors buzz, flutter, and jump from flower to pollen-filled flower performing the essential act of pollination. Did you know that 85% of plants require pollination? Join us as we celebrate these incredible creatures that support diverse flora, whether they know it or not! If you’re able to go a step further, consider donating to the Pollinator Health Research Fund through Cornell University in their  pollinator education and protection efforts.

Families, bring your kids for our Honey Bee Tea Party from 10am-12pm with bee stories, tea, and crafts! Our special friends at CAW Workshops will also be hosting a pollinator button-making activity in the Creative Canopy art tent all market long. We have a completely stacked line-up of music this weekend, with two amazing acts at each end of the market from 11-1pm: We’re From Antarctica on stage and the Mike & Marshall Duo at the West end of the market (by the merch)!

Look at the Free Bridge at night! Thanks to the City of Easton Conservation staff, we will have the Free Bridge lit in yellow Saturday night to celebrate Pollinator week!
