Peas, Yes Please!

Peas, Yes Please!

Who else uses the newsletter to craft their shopping lists? With the arrival of snap peas from Phillips Farms, broccolini from Cabbage Throw Farm, sweet cherries from Scholl Orchards, and zucchini from Salvaterra’s Gardens, you better believe those are topping the list of seasonal must-haves! Time to bust out your handy note pad (or the Notes app on your phone) because there will be an abundance of local choices this Saturday. You especially don’t want to miss the incredible deals from Salvaterra’s Gardens on head lettuce, herbs, and more! These are deals that surely beat the grocery store, for Organically-grown local produce no less. Allerton Creek Farm is back to sharpen just about anything. Just in case you aren’t “in the know” Aladdin makes a mean chicken shwarma that is the go-to for many hungry market-goers. Plenty of guest vendors to peruse, too!**

PA Shakespeare Fest is back on stage this Saturday at 11am for a special FREE performance of As You Like It! Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, and grab market goodies before and after the performance. While at the West end of the market, be sure to check out the sweet harmonies from The Illars as a part of our acoustic series.

Community tents in attendance this week will be Climate Reality Project and the Easton Area Public Library. A special thank you to our sponsor, Lehigh Valley Health Network – Part of Jefferson Health for supporting the market. Visit them by the Larry Holmes statue this Saturday!

Absent: Bright Path Brewing, Cotton Cattle Co., Teel’s Hill Soapworks, Elective Collective
