How time has flown and history has shaped America’s oldest continually-operating open-air farmers’ market over the 273 years of its existence. From covered wagons full of produce to cooled box trucks full of produce, we admire the aspects that remain the same while others adjust to the current times and trends. As we’ve seen the market grow over the years and embrace new locations and traditions, we love the plethora of ways the market nods to the history and combined cultural heritage of Easton. From the pasties to mango sticky rice, Dubai chocolate cupcakes, dandelion greens, peaches, cruffins, kombucha, and herbal soaps – we are so humbled by the creativity of our local farms and businesses that have embraced calling this area home and have shown us what we can do if we set our mind to crafting a community that shares a love of food and each other. Cheers to 273 years as America’s oldest open-air farmers’ market and the many more years to come! Come celebrate with us!
And, because you’ve asked and we’ve listened, we will officially have our new insulated bags for sale at the merchandise booth – along with our other great duds! Insulated bags are $10/piece. Be sure to take home a piece of history, and keep your goodies cool in the process!
