Opening Day e-update: May 2

Opening Day e-update: May 2

If the Easton Farmers’ Market has learned anything in our 268 years, it’s tenacity. And no one is more tenacious than our farmers. We’re fighters, and the iconic Larry Holmes statue at our new location at Scott Park, is there to remind us of that. We’re here to fight for our farmers and food entrepreneurs – for our local food system, and your right to safe, healthy produce, meat, eggs, dairy products and more.  We’ve worked hard to make the market happen this year – to create a safe shopping environment for all members of our community. And we’re looking forward to seeing your smiling face (behind your mask of course). The Easton Ambassadors will be on site to control the number of people in the market and maintain six foot social distancing between shoppers. We’re suggesting one shopper per household – if possible. And please, no dogs in the shopping areas at this time. We’ll have sinks on site, so wash your hands before entering the market, and refrain from touching any produce or food product. And most importantly, please be patient – we’re all in this together.  Click HERE to read this week’s e-update and come to opening day to thank our farmers and food vendors with your show of support.
