Much to Celebrate This Saturday!

Much to Celebrate This Saturday!

As you experience the  beauty of the riverfront and the vibrancy of the market, take a moment to recognize Juneteenth and its importance in our everyday lives – in the opinions we share, the empathy we feel, the relationships we form and how we interact and grow, as a community, and a country.

Markets at their core are important community gathering spaces, and our hope is that we are always providing a welcome space for our growing community. To learn more about this important celebration of our shared history, see the National Museum of African American History and Culture’s website.

The spirit of family abounds at the market and it’s always a treat to see our “Market Dads“ with their little ones in tow – we see you Dean, Bryan, Matt & Jacob! And the pops and grandpops shopping with their kids and grands. We wish all the Dads a wonderful (and delicious) Father’s Day. The market is loaded with tasty treats to celebrate Dad! Don’t forget, a great gift for dad is to sharpen his knives and shears! Allerton Creek Farm & Sharpening is BACK this Saturday!

Stop by one of our INFO tents to learn more about Juneteenth and Black history in Easton. Information can also be found just a short walking trip away at the Sigal Museum! Be sure to check out the Easton Area Public Library’s tent for Juneteenth reading lists and activities.
