Opening Day 2018 Season

May 5, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

It’s here – opening day of the Easton Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 5th.  Come early when the market opens at 9 am to welcome back all of your favorite vendors and say hello to some new ones.

Festivities begin at 10 am with Easton’s Town Crier, David Rose, calling shoppers and visitors to the ribbon cutting ceremony marking the 266th year that the market has operated in Easton’s Centre Square.  Established in 1752, EFM is the longest continuously operating open-air market in the nation.  Mayor Sal Panto Jr. and State Senator Bob Freeman will be there to welcome everyone back to the Circle for the 2018 market season.

Free activities for children hosted by the Arts Community of Easton and the Greater Valley YMCA along with an appearance by Sunny, the market’s mascot, will make this a great time for the family to shop for fresh and local products and enjoy crafts, games and music.  Everyone can get their ‘beet going’ with live entertainment by High Street House Band in the Music Tent from 11 am to 1 pm.
