Farmers’ Markets are Essential | Eat Well – Be Well

As you have probably heard, Pennsylvania is entering a new phase of COVID restrictions that go into effect on Saturday. Please know that the Easton Farmers’ Market will remain in operation as an essential business, maintaining all the same safety precautions that we have had in place throughout the 2020 season. In light of the Governor’s orders we will eliminate the holiday market fireplaces as they encourage unnecessary gathering.

As we enter what we hope is the homestretch of the pandemic, we ask that you remain diligent: stay home if you aren’t feeling well, wash your hands, wear your mask, sanitize your hands between purchases, and maintain social distance. And remember, it’s never been more important to eat healthfully. Consuming plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables is such a crucial part of maintaining your immune system. And even though it’s mid-December, there is still an abundance of locally grown produce available – thanks to our hard working farmers. Come feed your body – and your soul. And be sure to check out all our special holiday gift offerings. As we’ve been saying for the past 7 months, we hope the market can bring a little bit of joy and normalcy to your week. Be well.  Click HERE for this week’s e-update.
