Dear Market Friends,

If this crisis has taught us anything, it’s how to be flexible. Every day brings new challenges, the biggest one being how to carry on, while still managing to keep each other safe.

That being said, the Easton Farmers’ Market has decided to take the next three weeks off to develop a strategy to effectively and safely serve our customers and vendors in the midst of Covid-19. Drawing on guidance from Buy Fresh Buy Local Greater Lehigh Valley, the Penn State Cooperative Extension, and the the PA Department of Agriculture, we will develop a series of safety protocols and alternative shopping methods that can be implemented as needed during the upcoming spring and summer growing season. None of us are quite sure what the future will bring, but the Easton Farmers’ Market is committed to supporting our farmers and small businesses, and getting fresh, local food to you this season – one way or another!
