The perfect handheld summer treat is deserving of a celebration, and we’re here for it! The humble peach is juicy, sweet, perfect in pies, tarts, ice cream, grilled, and eaten straight, no chaser. Our market vendors have been getting crafty with peachy specials that are not to be missed!

As many of you know, this year has been tough on our fruit farmers. Many have experienced severe crop loss due to extreme fluctuations in temperature, losing many blossoms —which are essential to create a fruit — after harsh frosts. We are grateful for every single peach, and thankfully, we have many of them at Scholl Orchards and Phillips Farms!

Curious about how to prepare a peach with ease? We’re so excited to have local foodie Chef Sarah Sunshine making an amazing peach salsa during two food demos at 10am and 11am! Find her along the riverfront this Saturday, pull up a chair, and get ready to get peachy!
