As the temps grow colder and the leaves continue to fall, our farmers carry on. Covering their crops with blankets, harvesting vegetables made sweeter by the frost, and picking bushels of fruit that longs to be baked in pie or some other comforting dessert. November is a time for settling in, for nesting and celebrating food and family.
