Come celebrate Summer's sweetest gift, the TOMATO! Enjoy bruschetta, gazpacho, and fried green tomatoes while you groove to Hector Rosado and his Latin Band or catch the LV Steel Drum Ensemble, a market favorite. Enter our contests for Best Salsa or Best Tomato Sauce (contests open to home cooks and restaurants). Got a green thumb? Enter out Tomato Growers contest... Prizes for biggest, ugliest and best tasting tomatoes.
It the day to play with your food! Join in the Mr. and Mrs. Tomato Head contest or try your hand at tomato golf.
Enjoy Fried Green Tomatoes expertly prepared by Chef Matthew Pivnick of Key Ingredient. The tomatoes will feature a roasted garlic buttermilk ranch sauce. Also enjoy FREE samples of Key Ingredient’s amazing bruschetta, gazpacho and guacamole!
Easton’s own Terra Café will be serving up fresh toasted bagels with sundried tomatoes, mozzarella and peppers. And you’re in for a real treat with Purple Cow’s Crème of Tomato Ice Cream!

Salsa Contest
Prizes for:
* Best homemade salsa
* Best restaurant or professional salsa
All Salsa Contest participants must provide a minimum of 3 quarts of salsa for sampling (if your salsa is very chunky, please provide extra). Salsa must be brought to the Easton Farmers' Market by 9:30 am. Pre-register by calling: 610-330-9942
Winners are determined by the people. $2 tasting fee. Judging closes when first salsa is depleted. If you do not provide the suggested amount of salsa your entry cannot compete.
