The 2017 hot pepper competition at EFM was the longest in history — and we’ve been doing this for many years — but nothing was more competitive than the two remaining fire-eaters last year. Eating through all of the chile peppers including the dreaded ‘Scorpions,’ these two fierce competitors even downed some gut-burning hot sauce to become the last man standing, but to no avail — as in the end both were crowned winners.
To test how hot you can go, join other fire-eaters at EFM’s 2018 “10 Deadly Peppers” Hot Pepper Eating Competition! The competition features 10 hot peppers as the competitors stay in the game by consuming the peppers in their entirety. Each round increases in heat as the peppers climb the Scoville Scale. If the competition ends in a tie after Round 10, the Carolina Reaper (2.2 million SHU) will be the tie-breaker — the hottest pepper known to mankind!.
